SMITHY COTTAGE

SMITHY COTTAGE is a single storey traditionally constructed building of considerable age and great character. It occupies one of the best sites in Tayvallich, with outstanding views of the bay and Loch Sween. Leading directly from the garden is a private jetty, with a large pontoon. A mooring can sometimes be made available if required, and a slipway also leads directly from the garden

Smithy Cottage is an ideal base for sailing, canoeing and other watersports. The area around Tayvallich has a wide variety of walks to suit all ages and abilities, and is renowned for it’s wildlife and archaeological sites.

Smithy Cottage is comfortably furnished and well equipped, including electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A dinghy is provided for the use of guests.

The accommodation consists of one twin-bedded room, one single room, two 2’6” beds in the sun lounge and two beds in a log cabin situated in the garden.

Well behaved pets and children are welcome! The cottage is available all the year round and is reasonably suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Discounts are available off-season for couples and long stay visitors.
