History
This is a new Association, which derives from the Clyde and South-West Static Gear Association (CSSGA) established in 1990
By extending our membership nationally, we seek to defend the rights of all traditional Creelers and Divers against those trawler and dredger operators, who seek to exploit grounds occupied by creel fleets and cause damage to static gear and the sea-bed.
Mission Statement"To establish a strong national voice in the future development of Scottish inshore fishing, in defence of the rights of traditional Creelers and Divers, through input to regional fishery management and national and international conservation groups."
